His Love
it has been long on my mind to start a new blog. A blog that not many would see. A blog that will truely state out my journey of joy and struggles with the Father.
After such a long time of blogging on the other blog, whenenver i talk about my walk with the Father on my blog, my friends would just shoot me back and challenge me about the things that i live my life for. I do not deny that it has stumbled me in my walk with the Father.
anyway, last week, my 2 friends started challenging me to say just a mean word. Because they know that i will not do so, they were pretty mean, and kept forcing mi to do so. But thank God, i stood firm despite all the things they did and wanted to do. ha.
All these made me stumbled. How foolish. But i felt totally unworthy of the Father's love. After all i did, what have i to deserve Him? Just like wad those 2 said...'go back to your DADDY la... go find your DADDY la.... What kind of Christian are you?' etcetc. It made me think... 'Have i really glorified the name of my Father, or put His name to shame?' I have no idea. I was really feeling unworthy of Him. To the extent that i didn't want to sing. i didn't to do what i was called to do...
Despite those feelings, i did my QT that night... and guess what, i would say that God had something to say to me. The topic for that night was 'Salvation is not by works'. It was amazing as to read about the topic and know that we could never come close to keeping a list of rules perfectly enough to deserve to be in Heaven with God. It brings to mind that, all along i am not worthy of Him, it is because of His Son, Jesus who has paid the price for me. i should not have let the mean one stumble mi in my thoughts and my walk with God. Because He has paid the price for me, and im saved by grace.
i may fail in many ways. But the Father still loves.
'The fact of God’s love makes it possible for us to have peace even when things aren’t going like we want them to. God is all-powerful and he loves us perfectly and without any expectations. He never allows us to suffer unless it fulfills a part of His great plan for our lives. He uses both the good and bad things of our lives to make us mature and spiritually beautiful. What a treasure we have in the promise God gave us in John 3:16! “God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”'
Psalm 103:10-11 says it this way: “He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him.” Jesus said that God is our loving father who loves to give us good gifts. One of the very best gifts he gives is forgiveness.
